Students from Calvary Episcopal Preparatory School, Jane Long Elementary, and Travis Elementary visited Long Acres Ranch for learning activities with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Students participated in discussions about core samples and soil types, learned about river formation using the STREAM Trailer, and visited the river banks to see natural examples of the terms they were studying.
