December 2018- Water Cycle; Watersheds

This class will focus on the water cycle and watersheds.  Activities include rain simulator and water cycle activity.

January 2019- Weathering and Erosion; Rock formation

This class will focus on weathering and erosion; rock formation.  Activities include a demonstration on the stream trailer, building a model stream, and creating a sedimentary rock.

February 2019- Topography and Satellite Images

This class will focus on the topography and satellite images and we will also have several rock activities.  Activities include what makes a geode, the difference between a rock and crystal, what does weathering have to do with rocks and soil, and satellite images of the land.

March 2019- Environment

This class will focus on the environment.  Activities include a look at quail habitats, how different species survive in their environment, the flow of energy through and environment and life cycles.

April 2019- Plants

This class will focus on plants.  Activities include a walk through the woods to identify different types of plants as well as a ride down to the river.
