Indian Lore Merit Badge

Audience: Boy Scouts

Far different from the stereotypes or common images that are portrayed on film, on television, and in many books and stories, American Indians have many different cultures, languages, religions, styles of dress, and ways of life. During this merit badge class, scouts will learn and create a variety of objects used by Native American tribes.  They will also learn games and hand signals used by tribe members.  The entire merit badge will be completed during this class.  There is a $5 materials fee that will be paid at the beginning of the class.
